CLRVCKIDSYR

Clearview Cape Kidnappers Syrah 2022

Hawke's Bay, New Zealand
BeefVenison
  • Your invitation to a juicy youthful Syrah awaits!
  • Clearviews winemakers Tim and Matt seem to wake these grapes up, from a cruzy summer of hanging out by the beach to craft a versatile Syrah with vibrant vim and vigour.
  • Good for 4-5 years in the cellar, and great matched up to vension or beef steaks on the table.
  • Case of 6 ($25.90/bottle)

Clearview’s Cape Kidnappers Syrah delivers to your glass a juicy youthful Syrah 100% generated from Te Awanga vineyard fruit. It’s from this vineyard the grapes have a clear view of Cape Kidnappers which give rise to the labels names. As you can imagine these grapes are pretty laid back just hanging out over summer watching the waves of the Te Awanga coast roll by. Winemaker’s Tim Turvey and Matt Kirby take this relaxed personality of the grapes and transforms it into a versatile Syrah that is “inviting in its youth” with anise, liquorice and spicy dark fruits flavours. Clearview CK Syrah will mellow over a 5-4 year period and grow in complexity but will continue to be a great match with Beef or Venison steaks
