Grown from the premium seating of the vineyard’s Dress Circle, this extravert doesn’t just sit back and watch, but headlines the show, and what a performance it is!
Act 1 invites the audience’s noses into the fruit vibrancy of an apple and pear forest planted in mineral stones littered with floral petals. The taste in Act 2 inolves the fruit purity of succulent pears, peach florals followed by stone minerals and white spices. The performance of Dress Circle is textural, elegant, and always balanced sliding through your mouth invigorating with every scene, especially when food is the supporting actor.

It is in the Dress Circle where the spectacular views are found whether in the theatre or in Misha’s vineyard. This premium vineyard seating is the home to Andy and Misha Wilkinson Pinot Gris vines. These vines have enjoyed the picturesque vistas of Lake Dunstan and the Pisa Mountain range since 2003 when Andy and Misha pursued a Pinot passion creating exquisite wines for exotic cuisine. The Pinot Gris grapes had a great time in 2019 growing in the stunning vista of the Dress Circle Terrace. They were treated to warm days, cool nights and no winds. With such a great view they weren’t ready to be harvested until early May, indicative of the slightly cooler season. Flavour concentration and structure forming acidity were as good as ever, allowing Olly Masters to direct these privileged grapes into an exquisite wine.
