Six generations of know-how. The Guinabert family at Chateau Villefranche have been tending the vines in their Bordeaux vineyard since the 17th Century. I think that's just enough time to get to know the soil. In fact the Villefranche Chateau is one of the original vineyards in Graves appellation and within the Sauternes region. After centuries of making stunning Sauternes stickys the Henri Guinabert tried is hand a delicious red blend after finding some grapes near the Ciron stream. Henri crafted up a Merlot/ Cabernets blend that delivers supple red berry fruits wrapped with a woody structure. Who said Bordeaux's had to be expensive - you'll find great value in this AOC Graves red wine at just over $20.
Unlike Bo and Luke Duke this is one Boss Hogg you want to keep running into. Sourced from three of South Australia's best Shiraz growing regions then combined to generate a full bodied juicy Shiraz.
Fermenting in big 300l barrels for flavour - i'll give you one guess what the name of those barrels are?
