Another spectacular Noir from Misha's Vineyard. Cantata's character derives from the latin meaning of Cantata - It's the full package song and music and all the complexities in between.
Silky smooth tannins, baked raspberry pie and hints of chocolate are just some descriptions thrown around for this 5 star wine. Whatever characters you find, Cantata will always deliver an outstanding performance.
Case of 6 ($31.90/bottle)
Although it is the least expensive of the Pinot lineup at Misha's Vineyard, Cantata will have you tastebuds singing. Like the rest of cellar - Misha's Vineyard wines come with nod to the owner's Misha Wilkinsons time living around the opera. To vocalize the complexity of this Pinot Noir the name Cantata was chosen as in musical biz it refers to 'a complex composition of song and instruments'. Quite fitting really considering Cantata's characters are a complex mix of baked raspberry pie, spiced plums, silky fine tannins, and notes of chocolate according winemaker Olly Masters. A raft of 90+ scores have come in from the critics with silky tannins being the most popular term used. Normally reserved for NZ restaurants only, we have a few bottles for your home restaurant.
