Brilliant outdoors or in, Riesling for any occasion
As owner Sam Neill would put it 'delicious off-dry fresh style appealing to just about everyone on the planet!'
The Picnic label features Sam's Grandfather wine merchant - Sydney Neill. The first Neill to catch the wine bug.
A wine for many an occasion the Picnic Riesling from Two Paddocks certainly enjoys being the wine of choice outdoors but Its delicious off dry style is also pretty comfortable impressing those indoors as well. Soon after Two Paddocks was brought to life owner and chief story teller Sam Neill created the Picnic label in honour of his Grandfather - wine merchant Sydney Neill, who was the first Neill to catch the wine bug. A tradition enthusiastically carried on by Sam when you get him off a movie set. Fully organic Picnic Riesling hails from the Two Paddocks home block vineyard - Red Bank, where the famous Central Otago schist rocks give rise to mineral backbone of the wine. Hanging off this backbone its quite a full blown garden in your mouth with white flowers, frangipani, kaffir, lime and spice aromatics.
